Tennis & Court Information at Friendly Park
- The tennis courts are for the use of members and their guests.
- Courts are on a first-come basis.
- Any member, any age, may use the courts before 5 p.m. on weekdays. Adults (18 years or older) or adults playing with children will have priority to use the courts after 5 p.m. on weekdays. Adults will have priority on weekends and holidays from opening until 5 p.m.
- The tennis courts will open and close according to the pool schedule. Members using the tennis courts at other times will be required to purchase a tennis court key. Keys may be purchased from the club manager for a $3.00 fee.
- All children 10 years and under must be accompanied by an adult while on the courts.
- Only regulation tennis shoes will be allowed on the courts. All other shoes are strictly forbidden. Traditional tennis clothing is encouraged.
- No activity other than tennis will be allowed on the courts, and only those engaged in play should be on the courts, unless approved by FPI Management.
- The Tennis Code of Ethics and common courtesy should be observed at all times.
- The last players using the courts are responsible for making sure the gate is locked and the lights are off.
Please note that these rules are intended to allow the greatest number of members to play with the least waiting inconvenience. The rules can never cover every situation. Please let courtesy be the deciding factor when in doubt about the rules. Your cooperation is needed to keep litter off the courts. Violations of these rules, destruction of property, or improper conduct should be reported to the President or Board of Directors. The Board of Directors may suspend the privileges of any member deemed guilty of such infractions.
