Swim Team Season is Nearly Over - City Meet Starts This Thursday!
Over the last five weeks our Friendly Frogs have competed in weekly dual meets against the top five summer swim teams in our area. They’ve practiced hard and learned from the best coaches around. More importantly, they had fun!
Frogs from ages 5 to 18 made new friends, and renewed and strengthened summer friendships. Siblings, now teammates, cheered eachother on, and the older kids always made sure to cheer on their younger teammates alongside the pool. Each swimmer improved and gained confidence in themselves each week. It was another magical swim team season that we definitely didn’t take for granted.
Here a few pictures from our June dual meets. Special thanks to Hope Seeber, a Friendly Frog mom, for voluntarily taking hundreds of amazing pictures at each meet and sharing them with all the parents.
Good luck to our Friendly Frogs as they compete at City Meet at the Greensboro Aquatic Center from Thursday to Saturday of this week. GO FROGS!
Please keep in mind that many of our staff are either coaches or swimmers on the team and will be at City Meet. Please be patient with those working at the pool from Thursday to Saturday.
