Friendly Park Members,
I hope everyone is healthy and excited for the upcoming pool season! We are currently planning to open around the Memorial Day weekend as normally scheduled. We are operating under the assumption that we will be entering Phase Two of Governor Cooper's plan for North Carolina. Obviously, that is subject to change and our opening could be delayed as a result. Should that occur, it will be communicated to everyone as soon as possible.
We know that this situation has impacted many families, but we are hopeful everyone is planning to continue their membership at Friendly Park! While late fees have been waived as the status of the summer was in question, as we work to open, we must now ask that dues are paid in full. For those on the monthly draft, it will be reinstated in June.
It is highly likely that all pools will have to observe some level of capacity limitations to ensure a healthy social distancing. The board is currently working to develop an equitable plan that would allow us to comply with such requirements.

To be eligible for any potential system, membership must be current prior to arriving at the pool.

Finalized plans will be shared when available.

Keep in mind the plan at the beginning of the summer may not be in place for the entire summer.

The board will remain flexible and will adapt to changes should revision prove necessary.

We thank everyone for bearing with us as we try to navigate this unique situation. The board is trying to ensure we all have the best and safest experience at our outstanding pool.
